KNX 1070 Traffic Anchor

Jennifer York is the morning drive traffic anchor on KNX 1070. Her name is synonymous with traffic reporting with Southern Californians, having also reported traffic for 15 years on Channel 5’s KTLA Morning News and KFWB. Jennifer is a SoCal native with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Communications from UCLA, and a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. Her son, Micah, is a drummer.

Mike Simpson

Mike Simpson joined KNX in September 2015 as a news anchor. Prior to that, he worked as a reporter at KGO in San Francisco after getting his start at KFBK in Sacramento.

He spent years covering the State Capitol and Governor Brown, but he’s also chased wildfires, taken part in breaking news coverage that won Edward R. Murrow and APTRA Awards. He has even passed out in the back of fighter jets – twice.

Mike was born and raised in Sacramento and has psychology and communication degrees from UC Davis.

Heidi Hamilton currently co-hosts the Los Angeles-based morning radio program The Frosty, Heidi & Frank Show on KLOS-FM (95.5) with Frosty Stilwell and Frank Kramer. Heidi officially started her radio career at WTRE-AM (1330) in Greensburg, Indiana. She eventually moved to Los Angeles and got her big break in September 2000 when The Frosty, Heidi & Frank Show began on KLSX-FM. The show quickly became the #1 midday talk show in LA.
After the station’s format change and Frosty’s retirement, Heidi and Frank eventually launched their morning radio program, The Heidi & Frank Show on KLOS-FM (95.5), in September 2012. Frosty rejoined the show in September 2016. Heidi is a supporter of St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, St. Bonnie’s Animal Sanctuary, The Lange Foundation, United Yorkie Rescue and Yorkie Rescue of America. Heidi lives in Encino, Calif. with her wife, Cris, and their five dogs and two cats.
